Scritch Scratch

6x6" original oil
sold

I have had a wonderfully lazy December after a huge push in October to be ready for November's shows. However, I don't really know what to do with myself if I'm not painting, so here is another doggie. This painting is headed for Gallery MAR. I have wanted to do this painting for at least a year but never got a good photo until now. She scritch-scratches inside the house all the time, but not so much outside when I'm photographing her on the back patio and I like the outside sunlight for my paintings. I love the face she makes too. So funny. When I look at this painting I can hear the jingling of her collar tag. I'm glad I don't have to scratch my neck with my back feet.

What a great way to catch the action here. I can hear the collar jingle and the black and gray pattern is beautiful!

Your paintings are so beautiful. I can also hear the collar jangling and feel the warmth of the sun. Very nicely done. Great title too!
