You know, even for such a huge "beast" of a painting, it looks like you're getting through it pretty fast! (Seriously, on average, how long does it take you to complete a painting, start to finish?)

It's looking gorgeous, by the way!

Out of curiosity, I know roses (which grow so beautifully in Utah) tend to be overdone in the artistic world, but have you ever considered doing hyacinths or lilacs? Of course, your tulips are wonderful- I just didn't know if there was a specific reason for your preference.
