These four paintings are headed to my Salt Lake City gallery Alpine Art later this week. Alpine Art does a great job of selling my paintings of my lab, Buttercup. She has such a funny personality, and I can see it in each of these paintings. Ready for Kickoff is for real - my husband will boot that soccer ball to the end of the yard and she tears off after it, bringing it back in her mouth. She won't play that game with me though...only Matt. That soccer ball has been outside in the sun and snow for years and years, and it just won't die.

My hand is feeling ok - luckily I'm not a lefty, which is the wrist that had surgery. I can work for about an hour and a half before I need a break to ice my wrist/hand (and rest my brain, which seems to be extra tired lately). I will be very busy this spring, and I'm anxious to get back to painting full-time.
