This painting is a commission I did for a friend and it is a gift for her husband. Her husband's father passed away last July and loved apricots; a painting honoring him a year later is a nice nod and I was happy to be a part of it. The background has the inscription of her father-in-law's name and lifespan: Max Knight, July 10, 1925-July 28, 2007.
